Yesterday, told a pal that I am not biased towards mothers who work..I support it as long as they are good teamplayer..It is only when these mothers start using their children as reasons to take MC or leaves during the most busiest period at the office which undeniably pissed me off at times..
In the past, I did came across a working mother taking leave to sent her children to school..it was the beginning of the year..I understand that part..but how old were her children?? 11 & 12 years old..I was wondering the odds..Her children have disabilities??? No!
The best part was upon returning to work the following week, she storied about her "adventure" at the newly opened Tampines & Century Malls after sending her children to school..
I asked her,"You fetch your children after school??"..Her reply,"Nope..The school bus send them home & my maid fetch them at the void deck.."..
From that moment, each time people around me took MC & leaves using their children as reasons, I just smiled faintly..said in my heart,"Here we go again"..It was worst whenever I worked on shift job..All sort of domestic stories included as reasons of being absent..
Some tales of ex-husband trying to burn her house..ex-husband locked her out of the house..ex-husband trying to kidnap their late teens children..huh?? What's going on?? Blah Blah Blah..just to find out - one went to watch "Matrix" with the husband..one went clubbing but told the husband that she's on night shift..one spending time with husband bcoz he was clearing his annual leaves..Some did hair-rebonding..huh?? No other day to do it???etc..etc..
How I found out?
They themselves blurred it out on my face..Some felt no guilty & said,"This company is not mine..Why bother be too attached to it?? Don't work hard but work smart!"..indeed they made the roster a great art masterpiece..#ContengSanaContengSini
Where are they right now??
They are still working at the same company as LONG SERVICE STAFF..Seriously, they are still there..even bumped into the same "troublemaker" people when I departed for Bali..I just ignored as they did not prompt at me whatsoever..Some I bumped in the train..told me they are still there..not going anywhere..😂😂😂😂😂all are working mothers..ahakz..
