My late Indonesian grandpa chose "Latifah" to be my name but I fall really sick..A wise man in the village told my parents,"This daughter of yours is not gentle..she has toughness in herself..Latifah is not strong enough for her..Lets change it to "Sharifah".." And I recovered but need a second name to "nail" me down to earth..so, "Murni" was added..
My late Arab grandad loves the name "Sharifah" but not interested with my second name "Murni"..he commented it is too Indonesian..reminded him of my Indonesian mom..the fact which pissed him off..his first son married an Indonesian..😁 😁 😁...#HistoryOfMyName
