My mom :
"Yesterday I watched a drama..about a couple who has 2 daughters..the young one is married whereas the other one is not married..suddenly I remember that looks like me & your dad..
In that drama, the married daughter followed the husband to go to the in-law's house for reunion dinner..whereas the unmarried daughter had reunion dinner with friends..the parents waited for both daughters..that made me cried & wondered maybe you also will do the same.."
Me :
"hmmmm...You cannot see it in one angle..If I eat dinner outside with my friends, it is bcoz YOU don't want to eat dinner outside..eversince your major operation, you have become fussy eater..this cannot eat..that cannot eat..so how?? Plus daddy does not like to eat outside so, you cannot blame me when I eat dinner outside with my friends..I don't have a husband to bring me to eat dinner now & then..Im still lucky that I have some friends who are willing to eat dinner with me once in awhile & on special occasions..
Muslims have no reunion dinner..On eve of Hari Raya - if I work shift, you should know that I will be on duty bcoz Ive NO mother-in-law..NO husband..NO children to make me rush home to prepare all cookings for Hari Raya..if I work office hour, Im not into go off half day..bcoz I don't need to prepare anything for Hari Raya bcoz to me, it is just another PUBLIC HOLIDAY..Still, I go home straight from office once I finished my work..I still respect my parents who still celebrate Hari Raya..I don't stay out during the eve..So, what's the similarity about yours & daddy's lives with that drama...????
Sometimes, parents need to understand why their children behave & react in such a manner..Don't jump to any wild conclusion of your own..That's not right..Lastly, who is the culprit or MUSIBAT AGUNG who have instigated you while Im away??? *Nak kena rembat muka & mulut musibat tu*..
Frankly speaking, I did ate dinner with my friends but I still returned home & eat again with you, right? So, what's so wrong about dining with my friends then?? Also, I asked you & daddy out for dinner but you both refused so, what more can I do..*takkan nak main seret dorang nie & paksa makan kat luar..*..
Remember, I dislike any outsiders to intrude in my personal life..trying to tell me who should be my friends etc..I know how to lead my life..Im not married bcoz I chose to be unmarried..I accept the fate which God befalls upon me & just continue to live..I don't bother what others wanna comment about me..but instigating my parents really upset me!"
My mom :
"like your eldest sister.."
Me :
"I don't need to hear about her..bcoz Im sick & tired of hearing about what my siblings did to you.. Im tired of them..really tired..if they wanna talk tome, go ahead but Im not talking to them..I am drained..exhausted..Don't you feel the same..They keep doing the same to you..Don't you wanna chill for awhile..just stay away from them & have some peace of mind??? I do.."
